An approach and an attitude about the practice of science, which seek both - diversity & incorporation. It deals with integration across all levels of biological organization, from molecules to the biosphere - with diversity across taxa, from virus to plants & animals.
IB provides both mechanim & philosophy for facilitating science at the interfaces of ‘Horizontally’ arrayed disciplines.
